Eyelid Surgery
Many patients arrive at our practice with heavy, drooping upper eyelids or puffy bags beneath the eyes that can make them look tired or older than they really are. For these patients, eyelid surgery can restore a more youthful, alert appearance by removing excess skin and fat from the eyelids. Eyelid surgery can also help improve vision if sagging eyelids are interfering with sight.
Eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, is performed to correct the appearance of heavy, drooping upper eyelids and dark, puffy bags beneath the eyes that can make people look tired or older than they actually are. The surgery can restore a more youthful, alert appearance by removing excess skin and fat from the eyelids, and can even help improve vision if sagging eyelids interfere with sight—a condition called ptosis.
