Breast Lift

Breast Lift

Many factors can cause a woman’s breasts to sag. Many of the breast lift patients we treat have been through pregnancy and nursing, serious weight fluctuations, or simply the natural process of aging, all of which cause breasts to lose elasticity and firmness. A breast lift can reverse this effect, restoring a fuller, firmer bust line as well as a woman’s confidence in her appearance. Our top breast lift surgeons use modern, limited scar techniques to give women a pleasing and comfortable appearance with few reminders that they have had surgery.

A breast lift, or mastopexy surgery, raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour.

When one of our surgeons performs a breast lift, he makes an incision around the areola and down the underside of the breast. He then removes excess fat, tissue, and skin, tightens the remaining tissue and repositions the nipples higher on the breast. Sometimes, a breast lift is combined with a breast augmentation to obtain the best and most desired results.

Depending on your particular condition our surgeons may be able to offer you breast lift surgery using “limited scar” techniques. This entails using special methods to reduce the chances of unsightly scars or keloids in individuals that may be prone to these types of results. Our rates of surgical success at The Plastic Surgery Center far exceed that of national standards, and are attributable to the experience and skill of our superbly trained plastic surgeons.
